Emmanuel is the founder and Managing Share Holder of Emmanuel Law Firm, LLC, ("ELF"), which aggressively fights for, and has recovered millions of dollars for victims of medical negligence, and of other serious and catastrophic injuries on a contingency fee, no recovery, no fee basis. Potential cases at ELF are investigated and reviewed for merit with highly qualified medical experts, including Ivy League trained physicians and professors. Before ELF, he was a partner with the renowned Philadelphia plaintiffs’ law firm of Eaton & McClellan where he honed his skills as a trial attorney before juries, judges, mediators, and arbitrators. He also has experience working as a defense attorney, and as a law clerk to a trial judge, where he assisted the judge with drafting judicial opinions. Emmanuel's strong belief in fighting for victims of negligent conduct is reflected both in his litigation approach, and in his dozens of published legal journal articles spanning decades, which cover various areas of life, including informed consent in medical treatments, roles of HMOs and hospitals in patient care, judicial independence in the fight for justice, importance of equality and justice for all, and effects of political corruption on societal progress. Emmanuel graduated with highest honors (summa cum laude) from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he later taught a course in products liability and medical malpractice as an Adjunct Professor of Law for more than a decade. Emmanuel also earned a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Ivy League Cornell University. Emmanuel is on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Editorial Board of the Philadelphia Lawyer Magazine, formerly serving as the Editor-in-Chief. He was on the Board of Governors of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
