Ethan received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2009. During law school, he served as Pacific Region Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, regularly made the Dean's List, and was the recipient of several CALI awards. Working with the Environmental Law & Justice Clinic, he represented the interests of community-based organizations from across the bay area, including at hearings before the EPA Environmental Appeals Board and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. He also clerked at Earthjustice and represented clients through the Aids Legal Referral Panel. Ethan's continued interest in environmental law is now focused on toxic tort litigation.
Before law school, Ethan worked at The Recorder, a legal newspaper, where his passion for the law developed.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, reading, collecting LPs, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
