Florence earned her Bachelor of Science in 2016 from Bowling Green State Univeristy, followed by her Master's in Business Administration in 2017. She then moved to Chicago where she earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2020. During law school, Florence focused heavily on intellectual property law. She received a CALI Excellence for the Future award in Patent Law, was a recipient of the Robert & Clytia Chambers Scholarship Award in patent law, represented her school at the AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Patent Moot Court, and served as a staff writer for the DePaul Journal of Art, Technology, and Intellectual Property Law.
Florence concentrates her practice primarily on matters of business, commercial, and intellectual property litigation. Prior to joining Barney & Karamanis, Florence worked as an attorney at a boutique intellectual property firm in Chicago focusing on anti-counterfit litigation matters and trademark and copyright infringement matters.
