Alan Stagmeier was born in Hinesville, GA in 1979. He received his B.S. in Political Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA in 2000 before obtaining his J.D. from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 2004.After graduating law school, Mr. Stagmeier worked with and eventually became a Partner at a state-wide law firm defending doctors, businesses and insurance companies in civil litigation involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, sexual misconduct, breach of contract, professional negligence, products liability, automobile and trucking negligence and premises liability.
Mr. Stagmeier has distinguished himself as a young attorney, and was selected as one of Florida Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite Best Up & Coming Attorneys" for 2010, as well as a "Rising Star" for 2011 by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine.
Florida Trend recognizes the top 1.8% of lawyers practicing in the state. Those named to the "Legal Elite" list were selected in a nomination process that involves all of Florida's practicing attorneys, who named lawyers whom they hold in the highest regard and the "best up and coming attorneys" who were under age 40 or in practice for fewer than 10 years.
Florida Super Lawyers recognizes the top 2.5% of the State's young lawyers. To be eligible for "Rising Stars," an attorney must be under the age of 40 or have been practicing for 10 years or less. A multiphase selection process is used to determine which attorneys will receive this distinction, and nominees are evaluated on the basis of peer recognition and professional excellence.
Mr. Stagmeier now devotes 100% of his practice to representing those who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
