George G. Rassias

George attended the University of Delaware (1991) and the (Penn State) Dickinson School of Law (1994). Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Albert W. Sheppard, Jr., in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. Upon entering private practice in 1996, George has embarked on a career of personal injury law that has spanned over 25 years.

Over that time, he has handled a wide variety of personal injury cases and other civil litigation matters in courts throughout the Commonwealth and in several states across the country in coordination with local counsel. He has also argued matters before several state and federal appellate courts and has garnered seven-figure verdicts in multiple jurisdictions. Although he has represented companies and even a foreign government, he feels most at home representing those victims of negligence that need a voice and a champion. He handles complex litigation matters involving personal injury such as automobile accidents, premises liability and construction accidents, products liability cases including harmful pharmaceuticals and medical malpractice. In addition, he has handled matters involving contract disputes and business litigation for his clients.

For over fifteen years, George has been a member of the Amicus Curiae Committee of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association), authoring briefs and arguing before state and federal appellate courts on complex and cutting-edge issues impacting victims' rights. He is a past Chairman of the Amicus Committee and a recipient of the George F. Douglas Amicus Curiae Award for excellence in appellate advocacy.

Since 2018, George has sat as a Hearing Committee Member for the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board and also serves as panel member for Continuing Legal Education Programs for fellow lawyers.

He has been recognized as a Rising Star and Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Law & Politics and Philadelphia Magazine and as Delaware County's Best Personal Injury Lawyers.
