      Biography

      George has been representing plaintiffs (claimants) in serious personal injury cases and death cases as well as negligence cases against doctors, lawyers and other professionals for nearly 45 years. George is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana both under graduate and law school. He served on the College of Law's Board of Visitors, from 1979 to 1986 and was President of the Board of Visitors from 1983 to 1984. He was awarded the University of Illinois, College of Law, Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2007. Other awards include: The Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation Award for Distinguished Service to Law and Society; Member, Million Dollar Advocates Forum; Senior Counsel, American College of Barristers; Fellow, Litigation Counsel of America (an invitation only, national trial lawyer honorary society, limited to 0.5% of American lawyers); Super Lawyers, personal injury and professional malpractice, Plaintiff (top 5%); America's Leading Lawyers (top 5%); Law & Leading Attorneys; The National Trial Lawyers (by election of peers—top 100 trial lawyers in each state; selected for Illinois); Martindale-Hubbell rating: Illinois, AV; Missouri, AV; Fellow, Illinois Bar Foundation; Fellow, American Bar Foundation. George has been active in various bar associations at the local, statewide and national levels.
