Gerald O. Schultz received his B.A. (Cum Laude) from Ottawa University in 1981 and his J.D. (with Honors) from Washburn University School of Law in 1984. After serving Southwest Kansas in private practice, Gerry founded this office in 1991. During his tenure in Garden City, Gerry has served as President of the Finney County Bar Association, President of Crossroads, President of Southwind Country Club, and President of Finney County United Way. Gerry currently represents many civic organizations. Gerry has served on the Kansas Bar Association Legislative Committee and was a Member of the Kansas Supreme Court Blue Ribbon Commission in 2011. Gerry is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in Kansas and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Presently, Gerry serves on the 25th Judicial District Nominating Commission and is active in supporting the proper role of the Judiciary in these challenging times in Kansas.
Gerry is active in representing multiple financial institutions, insurance companies, large businesses, and greatly enjoys assisting persons who have been involved in major personal injury accidents.
While not working, Gerry enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing. Gerry enjoys serving his church in various activities, including being a church organist.
