Greg J. Bucher

Greg was raised on a dairy farm in Southwestern Minnesota, where he learned the value of hard work and integrity. He also lived for several years in large metro areas such as Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and Atlanta, GA, providing him with an understanding of the diverse nature of large cities. Prior to entering private practice Greg had an extensive career with a national leader in agricultural equipment finance. His legal practice reflects his numerous and varied life experiences as well as his commitment to family and community. He applies these same values to the practice of law, seeking practical solutions to address his clients' needs.

Greg is active in the community, attending Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, volunteering for the United Way of Southwest Minnesota, and as a board member of the City of Marshall Economic Development Authority. He enjoys spending time with his wife, and their three young daughters. In his spare time he enjoys reading, fishing, golfing, and listening to music.

Greg has a growing practice focusing in the areas of corporate and business law, representing large and small companies, start-ups, banks and partnerships, with their business formation, organization, transactional and other daily legal needs; and commercial law and civil litigation, particularly debtor-creditor law and work-outs for banks, and other lending or financial institutions, while also counseling lenders and other clients in secured loan transactions. In addition, he works with clients in the area of estate planning, agricultural and agribusiness law, real estate law, and he has experience with public drainage law. Greg also has experience involving criminal defense and DUI/DWI defense, and harassment restraining orders and orders for protection.
