I started my legal practice in 1986. As an attorney, I quickly realized that many people were uninformed about their rights under workers’ compensation laws or were too intimidated to file a claim after a work injury. In order to help this underserved population, I began making television and radio appearances to talk about workers’ compensation laws, social security benefits, and wage and hour violations. As a radio and television host, I have been able to empower numerous injured workers. As a result, many of them are now asserting their rights in employment law. In order to reach a wider audience, I also began to write a newspaper column on similar legal topics – a service I still provide to this day.
Throughout my years of practice, I have built a reputation for aggressively protecting the rights of my clients, and using any legal means necessary to help ensure the best possible outcome for each individual.
Outside of work, I am active in the Chinese community and in a range of nonprofit organizations. In 2012, I ran for the Community College Board with a platform of helping the City College of San Francisco provide vocational training to injured workers.
I am married with two children, and my husband works with the Superior Court. In my free time, I enjoy tennis, travel and working out at the gym.
