Heather E. Nitch is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of workers' compensation defense, representing employers, self-insured employers, and insurance carriers throughout Florida. Her practice also includes labor and employment law, and first and third party insurance defense.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Nitch was an attorney with a Miami law firm specializing in insurance defense and personal injury cases, where her practice focused on workers' compensation, insurance coverage, and labor and employment law.
Ms. Nitch received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, Florida, in 2007 and Bachelor of Science cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2003. During law school, she served as a Staff Editor on the St. Thomas Law Review, was a member of the mock trial team, and was inducted to the legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi. Ms. Nitch received the Book Award in Advanced Legal Research and Writing. While in law school, she served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Eileen O'Connor, Civil Division judge of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida.
