Jacqueline Larsen joined the Family Law Practice at Cohn Lifland in 2020. Previously, she was an associate with a small Union County law practice focusing primarily on Family Law.
Ms. Larsen served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Wilson, J.S.C. Chancery Division – Family Part in Hunterdon County. Her clerkship included matrimonial matters involving custody, equitable distribution, child support, alimony, and domestic violence. She was a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Linda Lordi Cavanaugh, Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Family Division and a Summer Intern for the State of New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Office of Dispute Settlement. She has done extensive mediation work as well to help families to compromise in sensitive and often difficult conflicts.
Ms. Larsen earned her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School-Newark in 2018, and a B.A. from Montclair State University. At Rutgers Law School, Ms. Larsen focused on curricula relating to family law and the issues children face in matrimonial matters. Also while in law school, she acted as the Business and Subscriptions Editor of Women’s Rights Law Reporter, and participated in the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic, where she handled child abuse and neglect cases involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP).
