Jacquelyn Andree Ruiz has dedicated her career to advocating for victims, giving a voice to those rarely heard. From her time with the District Attorney's offices to her dedication in Personal Injury, Jacquelyn is an advocate for individuals who are unable to stand against a system setup to ignore them.
Growing up in the bifurcated border town of Nogales, Arizona, Jacquelyn's desire to be an advocate for individuals was instilled at a young age. As native bilingual Spanish speaker, Jacquelyn watched individuals flounder in systems designed to thwart their need for help, pushing her to excel in school and pursue her passion for Law. Jacquelyn's drive to be a voice drove her to attend Gonzaga University School of Law where she excelled as a Law Review Editor; additionally, highlighting her desire to help those in need, Jacquelyn graduated with a Pro Bono distinction for charitable legal work. After graduating, Jacquelyn was admitted to the California State Bar on her first attempt in January of 2018.
While attending Gonzaga University School of Law, Jacquelyn interned at the Idaho Prosecutor's office, gaining experience at Kootenia County Prosecutor's Office and Ada County Prosecutor's Office. After graduating, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney at California's Solano County where she pursued justice for various victims. Unhappy with the system's inability to adequately represent victims, Jacquelyn followed her desire to represent those in need to the Law Offices of Leonard S. Becker, APC.
Today, Jacquelyn continues her legal fight as a victim advocate against insurance companies. Successfully litigating cases as well as succeeding in countless settlements and Mediations, she has continued to push for success for her clients. Jacquelyn's approach is simple: treat each client and victim as her only priority and utilizing exacting standards and rigorous preparation to deliver the help and results her clients need.
