James Craig Swapp

Craig Swapp is a personal injury attorney who is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Washington State. He has dedicated his legal career to helping people who have been seriously injured and families who have lost loved ones due to the negligent or wrongful actions. This includes accidents that involved pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, commercial trucks, buses, cars, and public transportation.

Attorney Swapp is a former member of the Board of Governors for the Utah Association for Justice and is an active member of the Idaho, Utah, and Washington State Association for Justice. A long-time member of the American Association for Justice, Attorney Swap and team at Craig Swapp & Associates are actively involved in the community and have been recognized by their peers for their exceptional legal representation when advocating for injury victim’s rights.

Mr. Swapp earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah School of Accountancy in 1988. Soon after, he realized his passions and skills would be better suited in the field of law.

In 1991, Attorney Swapp earned his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Utah College of Law. It was here that he served as a senior editor for the Journal of Contemporary Law. His law career began with local personal injury law firm, Siegfried and Jensen. Within five years Mr. Swapp made the decision to open up his own personal injury practice, now known as Craig Swapp & Associates.

When he isn’t in court or meeting with clients, Attorney Swapp enjoys spending time with his wife and college sweetheart, Susan, and their five children. He also loves to travel, read, and be involved in his community. Mr. Swapp is passionate about child safety and awareness, and supports Justice for All, a charitable organization that makes it possible for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney to retain legal representation.
