Jason Greenberg has over a decade of experience on the public side of practice serving as Assistant Counsel for the Civil Division in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and then as an Assistant Solicitor in the Collections practice group in the Baltimore City Law Department. As an Assistant Solicitor Counsel, he assisted judges, masters, and other personnel in locating, interpreting, and applying relevant regulations, statutes, and Maryland rules on various civil matters, such as foreclosure, temporary restraining orders, mechanics' liens, receiverships, and guardianships. During his time with the law department, his clients consisted of various city agencies providing him with the opportunity to argue cases that covered various areas of the law in the District Court, Circuit Court, and United States Bankruptcy Court. For instance, in representing the Baltimore City Department of Finance's Bureau of Revenue Collection, one of his main responsibilities was overseeing the annual tax sale and handling litigation stemming from the sale. Since joining the private sector, he has assisted clients in areas of Guardianship, Arbitration, Community Association Law, Residential and Commercial Foreclosures, Tax sales, Ejectments, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and Judgment/Debt Collection.
