Jason M. Weinstock is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labor Studies. He received his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law in 1993. While at Dickinson School of Law, he was member of the Board of Editors and the Articles Editor of the Dickinson School of Law Review. He also served as treasurer of the Dickinson School of Law Student Bar Association. He focuses his practice in Workers' Compensation, Union Side Labor Law, and Employee Rights. He has worked in Ira H. Weinstock, P.C. as an attorney practicing in these areas since 1993.
He is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America (2009-Present) and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers (2005-Present) for his representation of injured workers in the field of Workers' Compensation. In 2005, he was listed as a Rising Star in the Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" Philadelphia Magazine. In 2014, he was named in Best Lawyers in America as Workers' Compensation Law - Claimant's Lawyer of the Year in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Middle District Court.
He is Certified as a Specialist in the Practice of Workers' Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
He is on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Labor and Employment Council. He is a Past President of the Dauphin County Workers' Compensation Section. He is also a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee. He regularly speaks before Labor organizations on labor and workers' compensation issues and has led multiple Continuing Legal Education Programs on Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation.
