Jeffrey Constantinos works in Morgan & Morgan's First Party Insurance Litigation practice group. He attended the University of Florida for undergraduate studies and then went on to obtain his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While there, he earned a place with the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, and at the same time, spent his final year training in litigation with the Georgetown Criminal Justice Clinic.
Mr. Constantinos returned to Florida and began practicing First Party Insurance Litigation on behalf of homeowners and businesses who were wrongfully denied coverage. From there, he began working as a prosecutor at the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office in Tampa. As a prosecutor, Mr. Constantinos tried 35 cases to a jury trial and hundreds of non-jury trials. He was entrusted with increasingly serious cases including trafficking, firearm robberies, and homicide. He was quickly promoted to Lead Trial Attorney and assigned to the Economic Crimes division where he pursued white collar criminals and complex litigation cases.
Ultimately, Mr. Constantinos returned to First Party Litigation where he could apply his depth of courtroom and trial experience to representing plaintiffs. His practice area focuses on insurance litigation where insurance companies have wrongfully limited or denied coverage or have been acting in bad faith.
