Prior to starting Gill Law Firm, Mr. Gill defended physicians, nurses and healthcare institutions to obtain in-depth experience on how the defense strategizes and manages complex litigation.
Mr. Gill took his first case from filing of complaint to a jury verdict in thirteen months. The jury awarded his client $3.4M. He successfully appealed the court's granting of Defendant's motion for summary judgment on punitive damages resulting in dual, independent punitive claims against the employee and directly against a large publicly traded company for reckless management.
Mr. Gill's second verdict was a $3.8M Top Ten verdict in conservative Coconino County in Flagstaff, Arizona. This was a slip and fall case, and the jury awarded the specific dollar amount compensation Mr. Gill proposed.
Consistent with his dedication to his client's wishes, Mr. Gill has turned down seven-figure settlement offers to take cases to trial. The client makes the decision. Mr. Gill enjoys litigation and trials. He only takes cases he is willing to take to trial.
