Jennifer H. Carroll is a highly skilled litigator who practices in the area of foreclosure defense, probate and trust administration. Jenn is one of the main foreclosure defense litigators at the law firm of Newland & Newland, which has one of the largest foreclosure defense practices in the Chicago area.
Jenn defends foreclosure cases in Lake, Cook, McHenry, DuPage and Will Counties. She is highly skilled in litigating foreclosure cases and as a result she is very successful in obtaining the clients' objective.
Jenn was recently a speaker at the Northwest Suburban Bar Association Foreclosure Seminar where spoke on the subject of the new Supreme Court rules and their effect on defending foreclosure cases.
Besides foreclosure defense, Jenn is highly proficient in probate and trust administration.
Jenn was born and raised in Petersburg, Alaska. She then went on to receive her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy and her law degree from the University of Oregon. While in law school, Jenn worked for the Lane County Legal Aid Office and interned with the District Attorney's office prosecuting misdemeanors.
Prior to joining Newland & Newland LLP in 2012, Jenn practiced in the area of complex commercial litigation, commercial foreclosures, estate planning, probate and guardianship litigation. Jenn had represented guardians, executors, trustees and creditors in probate and guardianship matters. Jenn also acts as a guardian ad litem for the Lake County Court.
