Jennifer Van Anne joined the firm in 2000 and has been a shareholder since 2006. Her areas of practice are Insurance Litigation, Insurance Coverage, Governmental Liability, Civil Litigation, and Workers Compensation.
During law school Jennifer was a member of the Moot Court Board. From 1999-2000, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable David Gilbertson, Justice of the South Dakota Supreme Court, in Pierre, South Dakota.
Jennifer is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of South Dakota, the Order of Barristers, and Defense Research Institute. She currently serves as the President-Elect of the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Associations. Jennifer is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Jennifer currently serves on the SD State Bar Ethics Committee.
