Joanne M. Wendell

Joanne M. Wendell was born in Detroit, Michigan.  She attended Western Michigan University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Business in 1981, graduating summa cum laude.  Ms. Wendell received a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1997.  She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997, and has been admitted to appear before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the United States District Courts in the Central and Eastern Districts of California.

Ms. Wendell's legal experience has been principally focused on commercial general liability insurance coverage, additional insured litigation, construction defect liability, multi-party/complex litigation, and personal injury defense.  Her practice has extended to employment and railway litigation, as well as to special education and HOA law.  Her experience includes pre-trial litigation through appellate advocacy.
