Biography
JOEL A HOLT, Esq./CIPP-US, is an experienced attorney concentrating his practice in the areas of business law, civil litigation, real estate law, probate and estate planning, and cybersecurity and privacy. Attorney Holt serves as outside general counsel for small and midsize businesses, bringing experience and professionalism at an affordable rate. Attorney Holt is a certified privacy professional, holding a CIPP-US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He has a broad legal background, including appellate advocacy, corporate formation and governance, securities, and transactional law. Mr. Holt is also a proficient civil litigator, with 16 years' experience in Ohio and Federal courts. Attorney Holt graduated from the University of Akron School of Law, magna cum laude. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Akron School of Law and Hiram College. Mr. Holt also served in the United States Air Force with honor and distinction.
