John Markus joined Leeseberg Tuttle in October 2015 as an associate attorney focusing his practice on medical malpractice and personal injury law.
Prior to joining the firm, John attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law where he focused his education on practical, hands-on litigation experiences. While in law school, John was a member of the Trial Practice and Moot Court teams, where he received the University Award for advancing the national reputation of the moot court program and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society for students demonstrating outstanding oral and written advocacy skills. Additionally, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ethna M. Cooper at the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas and worked as a legal fellow for the Ohio Innocence Project where he played a significant role in the exoneration of Ricky Jackson, the longest serving wrongfully convicted person in US history.
Prior to law school, John graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
