John Amos Whatley is an attorney with offices in Louisville, Kentucky. He was raised in Louisville and attended Trinity High School and the University of Louisville. While at the University of Louisville he lettered in football for the Cardinals and was recipient of the Conference USA Academic Award and the John E. Brown Scholarship. Mr. Whatley graduated in 2002 from the school of business with a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in accountancy.
Mr. Whatley attended law school at Mississippi College School of Law. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2005. Mr. Whatley is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Mississippi. He is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association. Kentucky Bar Association and Kentucky Justice Association.
Mr. Whatley's practice is focused primarily on civil litigation. His civil practice comprises of personal injury litigation, wrongful death litigation and commercial litigation. Personal injury litigation includes cars wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, truck wrecks, premises liability and medical malpractice. Commercial litigation primarily aids individuals and business to recover damages resulting from breach of contract, fraud, and misrepresentation.
