Biography
John Fisher is a graduate of the University of Toledo's College of Law and has been a licensed attorney since November of 1991. John is a Past-President of the Toledo Area Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the Ohio Association For Justice, a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and a member of the Toledo Bar Association.
In addition to being licensed as an Ohio attorney John Fisher is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and Federal District Court for the Southern District of Michigan.
John's practice focuses on serious injury and wrongful death cases, including those resulting from automobile, motorcycle, and truck accidents, as well as injuries and death resulting from medical malpractice, products liability, workplace accidents, dog bites, as well as others. John also handles general plaintiff's litigation.
John is a former member of the Board of the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio (and served on its Executive Committee). John is also a past-President of the Board of Racing For Recovery, a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is the prevention of all forms of substance abuse and to provide positive alternatives for those currently battling addictions by encouraging a lifestyle of fitness and health through 5K run/walk events across the nation.
John recognizes that when a person is injured or killed as the result of someone's else's negligence, it is not only the one whose bones are broken who suffers. Rather, spouses, children, parents, and other loved ones also suffer when a devastating injury occurs. John prides himself on working with the entire family of the injured person as he helps that entire family try to restore their lives.
