John Moore focuses his practice on business and commercial law, commercial real estate, creditor's rights and estate planning. He has a long history of transactional work for corporate clients, trusts and individuals, and is skilled at working on complex transactions.
John has been involved in the purchase, sale and financing of hotels, shopping centers, office buildings and retail businesses, and has represented landlords in commercial tenant disputes and collections. He has also represented numerous creditors in both small and large bankruptcy matters and has represented national clients in the recovery of equipment. His estate planning practice includes living trusts and elder law issues such as special needs trusts.
John has worked with a number of international companies on transactions in the U.S. and abroad. He served as chair on Washington & Lee's Annual Fund for several years.
