Born and raised in Lebanon County. Graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School, Pennsylvania State University, and the Dickinson School of Law. Served in the United States Army from 1967 through 1969. Married to Clarissa, an artist, with whom he has three wonderful children; a veterinarian, a medical doctor and a college professor. Practicing law in Lebanon County since 1978. Has volunteered as a board member and coach for his local youth recreation association and has served as a member of his local Lions Club since 1981.
