Attorney John F. Kulick was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and like his brother he worked with his family landscaping business throughout high school. The Kulick family raised their sons to understand hard work, and John’s experience doing physical labor as a young man paid off on his journey through college and Law School.
John attended the Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Crime, Law, and Justice. Attorney Kulick moved on to law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. John excelled academically, being placed on both the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. Additionally, John received a “Certificate of Merit” in his Probate Court Practice course for receiving the highest possible score on the final exam.
While attending law school, John interned with the Michigan Department of Attorney General in the Criminal Appellate Division, where he honed his research, writing, and advocacy skills to help Assistant Attorney Generals keep convicted felons in prison when they were eligible for appeal. After the completion of his internship, John was asked by the head of the Division to return and continue assisting the office of the Attorney General. Throughout this time, John gained valuable experience and knowledge of the appellate process.
After graduating from Cooley, Attorney Kulick returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania to serve among the NEPA community that he loves. He is currently an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar and a participating member of the Luzerne County Bar Association.
