John Parker joined Knight Nicastro and MacKay after having worked at the Missouri State Public Defender's office, where he was appointed by the courts to provide legal counsel to indigent defendants charged with felonies and misdemeanors, giving him the experience needed for him to participate in various jury trials, bench trials, motion hearings, and general court proceedings.
His interests include working out, attending local shows and events, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He volunteers with Stonewall Sports, an adult sports league that provides an affirming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community along with allies to compete in various competitions; Heartland Queer Project, a non-profit organization focused on providing spaces and experiences for queer people and their allies; and he is a volunteer coach for a local high school mock trial team, an after-school competition club for highschoolers to hold mock trials and act as attorneys in a legal case. He enjoys watching local amateur shows, visiting distilleries and wineries, and dining in local restaurants and coffee shops with friends and family.
