John Warren Raggio

As a partner at Fears | Nachawati, John manages the firm’s criminal defense and family law practice sections. These courtroom intensive areas of law often carry high stakes for those involved. John enjoys the challenge of arguing his clients’ cases before a judge and jury. Originally from Louisiana, John attended high school at the Culver Academies in Indiana. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science. After college, John earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. John is licensed to practice in the States of Texas and Missouri, and has been admitted to the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas Federal Court. John is deeply devoted to helping people who have been challenged by the legal system. His ability to understand and empathize with his clients helps him to successfully defend their cases. John currently lives in Lake Highlands with his wife and daughter. John loves being a dad and spending time with his family. He and his wife are avid travelers, including honeymooning in Japan, dove hunting in Argentina, and experiencing many of the eclectic cultures in Europe. When he needs to take a break from the office, John likes to hit the ski slopes or take a couple of days to relax on the Texas coast.
