Jonathan D. Mester focuses his practice on representing victims of medical malpractice, including obsterical malpractice cases in whihc the baby suffers sever deficits at birth including Cerebral Palsy and Erb's Palsy. Jonathan has also successfully handled numerous workplace and construction accident cases involving serious injury and death, as well as nursing home abuse cases.
Jonathan joined Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy in 1998 as an associate and today is a partner witht the firm. He is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership is limited to trial attorneys who have won million or mult-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
Jonathan has been selected for inclusion in Ohio Super Lawyers by Law & Politics Media since 2010. Prior to being selected as a Super Lawyer, he was selected for inclusion in the 2006 through 2009 Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star by Law & Politics Media.
Jonathan is most proud of the jury verdicts he has obtained for his clients. He has obtained four verdicts in excess of a million dollars, including the first medical malpractice verdict in several years in Columbus, Ohio on behalf of a four year old girl in 2013. One each of these cases, the wrongdoer offered little or nothing to settle the case, leaving Jonathan's clients no choice but to take the case to trial.
