Tate Meagher has lived his entire life in the great Bluegrass state. He was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, graduating from St. Xavier High School where he was captain of the basketball team. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky he then graduated cum laude from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Following law school, Tate began working for an insurance defense law firm where he represented insurance companies against individuals seeking compensation for their injuries. He later worked for a firm focusing on insurance subrogation and a company where he focused on healthcare compliance. After years of gaining valuable experience, Tate finally decided to open the Meagher Law Office to fight for the rights of injured people. He now uses his intimate knowledge of the insurance industry to obtain maximum results for his clients.
The Meagher Law Office is dedicated to the loving memory of Tate’s older brother Thad Meagher. Tate always looked up to Thad who brought so much joy and laughter to others. Thad never met a stranger. To follow in Thad’s footsteps the foundation of the Meagher Law Office is based on building strong relationships and ensuring that every client gets the dedicated attention they deserve. Tate prides himself on adding personal touch to each case.
Tate primarily focuses his practice on representing clients injured at work or due to the negligence of others. He also has a steady network of trusted attorney contacts who he refers matters concerning other areas of the law such as divorce, bankruptcy, estate planning, employment law, and criminal law.
Tate is a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, and American Association for Justice. He was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2019.
