Biography
Jose A. Ceja has devoted his career to the practice of criminal law and is honored to aggressively defend his clients. He has built a well-deserved reputation for achieving excellent results for clients throughout the Greater Houston area.
He began his career as a prosecutor in Arizona and was quickly promoted to the felony division, prosecuting drug cases.
In 2010, Jose was hired at one of Texas premier criminal defense firms Scheiner law, working closely with one of the top criminal defense lawyers in the state.
Mr. Ceja has a proven track record of obtaining outstanding results including dismissals, grand jury "no bills", reduction of charges, and acquittals.
He has chaired over 50 criminal jury trials and is never afraid to go to trial and help his clients.
Jose also assists those who are charged with DWI or drug offenses, having spent hundreds of hours studying the science of breath and blood testing. He is certified to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs).
In 2018, Jose founded Ceja Law Firm where he devotes his practice to fighting for citizens accused of crimes.
