Mr. Brown was born in Jackson, Michigan, June 11, 1956. He is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University and a 1981 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Brown maintains memberships in the Genesee, Shiawassee and Ingham County Bar Associations, State Bar of Michigan Board of Directors, Negligence Section, Judicial Qualifications, and Medico-Legal Problems, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (Past President, Executive Board of Directors 1988-1995), Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Mangers (Board of Directors), Lifetime Fellow of the MIchigan State Bar Foundation, Defense Research Institute State Representative for 25,000 civil defense lawyers, Eastern and Western Michigan District Federal Courts, US Court of Appeals 6th Circuit and US Supreme Court.
