Joseph G. Homsy

Joseph-John G. Homsy is an associate attorney at Arnett Law Group, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, Joe has represented his clients in various litigation specialties, including bankruptcy, insurance defense, premises liability, construction negligence, and product liability cases.

Mr. Homsy graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010 with a degree in English. He received his law degree in 2014 from DePaul University College of Law. His bar admissions currently include the Supreme Court of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While in law school, Joe served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kathleen Kennedy. During his time as a law student, he received the DePaul University College of Law Senior Service Award and Chancellor’s Award for Public Service. Joe also served as the Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council of DePaul University College of Law’s Student Bar Association. The Dean’s Advisory Council would meet with the Dean of the law school on a regular basis in an effort to improve the experience of law students at the DePaul University College of Law.

As a member of the Arab-American Bar Association, Mr. Homsy has been involved in the Arab-American Bar Association’s judicial evaluation committee. He also founded a mentorship program which seeks to match young professionals with high school students interested in the same practice areas as young professionals involved in the program. Joe’s involvement with these various bar associations and activities has helped him create and develop a strong legal network. In his free time, Joe’s interests include photography, history, and baseball.
