Josephine is a native San Franciscan who is committed to advocating for those who have been oppressed and neglected. Josephine’s Team primarily focuses on representing tenants that have suffered from personal injury and economic loss at the hands of exploitative landlords.Her clients include victims of verbal harassment, physical intimidation, and severe habitability defects. Josephine also represents victims of personal injury, toxic exposure, and discrimination.
Josephine volunteers regularly in the area of eviction defense and has been recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service by the Bar Association of San Francisco since 2012. She also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of San Francisco’s Eviction Defense Collaborative, the first organization in the country to provide legal assistance to clients facing an eviction as part of a coordinated, single agency anti-displacement strategy.
