Joshua A. Carroll

Mr. Carroll was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 2007 and began his career at a large insurance defense law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He quickly realized that he wanted to spend his career as a lawyer representing everyday people, not insurance companies, so he joined Buzzell, Graham & Welsh in May of 2008.

Mr. Carroll is admitted to practice before all state and superior courts in Georgia and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Georgia and Northern District of Georgia. He has been admitted pro hac vice in other jurisdictions and has worked as co-counsel with attorneys outside of Georgia on various matters. Mr. Carroll specializes in serious personal injury cases, including cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, workplace injuries and deaths, wrongful death claims, long-term disability disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and nursing home neglect.

Mr. Carroll was selected as a "Georgia Rising Star″ in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 by SuperLawyers Magazine. He has also been named to the "Legal Elite," published by Georgia Trend Magazine. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Macon Bar Association, Mr. Carroll is a member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, a grassroots organization devoted to maintaining the strength and integrity of consumer rights in Georgia and protecting the constitutional right of individuals in Georgia to receive a trial by jury in civil cases.

Mr. Carroll enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, who is also a lawyer. They have two beautiful daughters, Emily and Maggie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, reading, being a dad, and attending sporting events.
