From start to finish, Josh Cohen and his team were beyond satisfactory. My case was not so clear cut as many others but Josh and his team helped us to reach a settlement that I am very happy with. I was on my bicycle on the sidewalk in Alhambra, where it’s illegal for bicyclists to be on the sidewalk. Furthermore, the police report noted I had headphones on when I was struck. The insurance company was fighting us to the full extent and we knew it was a challenging situation. But using his knowledge, expertise, and professional network, Josh made a compelling case on my behalf and we ended up settling through mediation. As far as the medical treatment went, I feel that Josh and his team have an excellent network of doctors, pain specialists, radiologists, etc. I received three PRP injections for my fractured shoulder and I have no pain anymore. Dr. Yovino was the pain specialist Josh sent me to. Every treatment was excellent. Medical reports were thorough which helped the case. I was sent to Dr. Kay for orthopedic assessments and again, reports were thorough and excellent. When I had to see the insurance company’s doctor, Josh Cohen hired a friendly, knowledgeable person (I don’t know the title of his position) to tag along and make sure all questions were appropriate and I felt like I was in good hands with him. Darren Reid worked to negotiate the medical costs down substantially, which meant I got more money in the end. I finally met him in person this week when I picked up my check. He’s so friendly, as are all the staff. Martha is such a sweetheart and responded to me usually within minutes. Any issue I had was dealt with and I feel that she’s very responsive to requests. Dana was usually at reception and she’s very friendly and always picks up promptly when I called. The office is fairly new and is very nice. The conference room is spacious and comfortable. They gave me a tour of the place and it’s very nice. Josh is an excellent attorney with a passion to help people who have been injured, especially bicyclists. I got to know him well and it was so great working with him. He’s so nice that he bought my husband and me lunch the day of the deposition. He also dined at the restaurant I work at several times. I saw him there with his daughter once, with his wife another time. I feel that he really established a good relationship with me and he probably does the same for all his clients. Overall it was an excellent experience and although I’m glad it’s over, I will miss seeing them. If anything else happens, whether bicycle, auto, or slip and fall, I’ll definitely call them first! I forgot to mention I first was with iAccident Lawyer, a Robert Koenig company and it was a nightmare. Josh took my case even when he knew Koenig was getting a portion. Luckily we worked things out with Koenig so that they wouldn’t get any portion of the settlement because they were terrible and they wouldn’t deserve a penny of what Josh and his team worked hard for. Don’t make the same mistake I made by hiring crappy/mediocre lawyers. Go to Josh Cohen first and foremost.
