Kayla J. Gutierrez

Kayla Gutierrez is a graduate of St. Mary's Univeristy School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. While in law school, Kayla dedicated her time to various pro bono programs including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). helping residents at the San Antonio Homeless shelter, and representing families in adoption cases as a student attorney. Due to the number of pro bono hours she completed while in law school, she received recognition upon graduation by the Pro Bono College of the Texas State Bar.

Upon graduation, Kayla worked for a personal injury law firm and helped secure hundreds of thousands of dollars for injured Texans. She left in 2021 and decided to form her own practice.

Kayla was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and is a graduate of Premont High School in Premont, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to attending Law School, Kayla worked for Congressman Filemon Vela in Washington, D.C. and also worked as a licensed insurance agent for USAA in San Antonio. Kayla is south Texas raised and a long time resident of San Antonio, Texas where she now calls home.
