Kelsey is a trial attorney with the Lynn Law Firm. Kelsey joined the Lynn Law Firm in 2017'from the United States Department of Justice, where he represented the United States as a trial attorney in high-profile civil disputes and trials. Before joining the Justice Department, Kelsey spent six years at two large law firms in the District of Columbia, handling complex commercial, criminal, and regulatory disputes. At the Lynn Law Firm, he brings this broad experience and unique strategic perspective to represent clients in personal injury, insurance coverage, products liability, contract disputes, antitrust V intellectual property, and other civil litigation matters.
Kelsey is a graduate of Harvard Law School (cum laude 2007) and Georgetown University (cum laude 2004). He is admitted to the bar in New York, the District of Columbia, the federal District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Northern District of New York. ln addition, he has represented clients in courts throughout the country, including in California, Washington, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. While at the Department of Justice, Kelsey received the John Marshall Award for Trial of Litigation, the Department's highest attorney award, and an Assistant Attorney General Award. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Civil Practice and Rules Committee and Committee on Federal Legislative Priorities. He has published widely on issues including civil litigation, trial practice, and antitrust, and is an editor of the American Bar Association's treatise Proving Antitrust Damages.
