I hired Mr. Raley for a personal injury auto case. It was a nightmare of a case and I’m actually glad its over. He was never prepared. During my mediation he forgot to bring his folder and had to go off memory but could not even remember the demand amount. Then told me several different numbers for my medical bills all the way until the day before court saying he miscalculated the numbers. I even had to end up paying an extra bill at disbursement. I asked him a question that was never answered even though I asked him every time I called (he told me he would have the paralegal look into it) then when I finally asked him about it again, he told me that it was now too late and when I asked him why he didn’t look into this before he said he was too busy working on the case. When we got to court, he couldn’t remember his own prepared speech and had to keep stopping awkwardly to go back and read off the paper. He was flustered the entire time and said the judge was being hard on him when I think she was very fair to every side. When it was over and I was upset over the final numbers, he suddenly did a 360 and was short with me and boasted in my face that he got great results in his previous case. He told me if I didn’t agree to his terms (instead of wanting to discuss or explain anything to me) then he would ask for the full attorney fees per the contract even though he told me a few days earlier that it would not be right to accept the full fees due to the results of the case. I ended up working it out with the firm attorney and if it wasn’t for how well the firm attorney worked with me and empathized with my situation then I’m not sure how the situation would have turned out. Mr. Raley is a lawyer that has no confidence, experience, or even a slight bit of customer service.
