I am grateful for my career. I have been practicing for close to 20 years helping clients with complex cases to those that are simple and straight-forward. I am grateful for the level of trust my clients place in me and do not take it lightly. My favorite moments are when I get to see the look of relief in my clients eyes knowing that the financial issues they have been struggling with (many for years and years) are behind them. I am also grateful for the ability to turn someone's life around in as little as 90 days. I am a planner. I ask my client's "Where do you want to be in 3 years?" Sometimes my representation only takes 90-days but we go beyond cleaning up the mess to planning for the future. That can include credit repair/rebuilding all the way to discussing how to build an emergency fund or qualify to buy a house. I view what I call the "planning phase" as the fun part clients and I get to do when their case is over. I love numbers. This goes hand-in-hand with the planner in me. I like to detail out client's budgets and then talk to them about their future. Most clients are trying to get in a financial position where they can qualify to buy a house. I am amazed how many create their own mental blocks and think they will never qualify. I love being able to run the numbers and go over the steps so they have a plan of action to start on that very day.
