      Biography

      Kevin S. Murphy is a partner with the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the area of workers' compensation defense. During his career, Mr. Murphy has handled cases in every district in Florida and has represented employers of all sizes and types, ranging from small businesses, to governmental entities, to multi-national corporations. He also has extensive appellate experience through oral arguments before the First District Court of Appeal and The Florida Supreme Court.Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Murphy worked with the law firm of Moore, Peterson & Zeitler in Orlando, where he practiced workers' compensation law since 1995.

      Mr. Murphy received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law, Gainesville, FL in 1995 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL in 1992, with a major in political science.

      Mr. Murphy is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Section.
