Kristin grew up in Northern Kentucky and has been protecting the rights of individuals, families, and children since 2009. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Louisville in 2005 and a Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2009. Kristin began her legal career with a desire to help people and a focus on public interest law. She was awarded Volunteer Law Student of the Year by the Northern Kentucky Volunteer Lawyers in 2009 and started her law practice as a public defender. Kristin assists with the firm's civil litigation cases and continues to fight for clients accused of crimes by the government, including felony and misdemeanor offenses, DUI, and juvenile offenses. She also has experience as a foster parent and assists families with adoption and juvenile cases. As a partner at Russell & Ireland Law Group, Kristin endeavors to help her clients understand and navigate the legal process whether they have been injured, charged with a crime or dealing with a case in family court. She lives in Covington, Kentucky with her husband, Adam, and their two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, her church community group, playing guitar and running.
