Lance Beal is a native of Erath, Louisiana. He is a 2001 Graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School. Upon graduating from high school, Lance served in the United States Air Force from July 2001 to June 2005. He was commissioned a military intelligence officer in the United States Army in 2005. During Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, he served as Officer-in-Charge of Nicholls State University's evacuation shelter. After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Lance served as a Louisiana National Guard strategic plans officer and then Louisiana's state intelligence officer. He commanded a military intelligence company in Afghanistan. After his service, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 2018.
Lance currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District, as a felony prosecutor. Lance is the managing partner of Beal & Hebert where his practice focuses on helping car wrecks, small businesses grow, personal injury, wills and successions, and construction law. He has been a volunteer coach for various local schools for the past nine years where he has coached football, baseball, softball, and track.
Upon returning home his deployments, Lance has dedicated himself to making his home of Acadiana a better place by dedicating himself to various charities, such as Leukemia Lymphoma Society. By making Acadiana a better place, we make Louisiana a better place.
Lance's practice focuses on civil litigation, business law, personal injury and construction law.
