Laura Ann Dugan

Laura Dugan, Esquire, joined the Law Offices of Kevin M. O'Neill, LLC, as an associate in February 2022. Laura zealously represents clients in all criminal law matters ranging from summary citations to felony charges. Due to her considerable work experience in the criminal justice field as well as the professional relationships she has forged through that work experience, Laura is well-equipped to handle her clients' criminal matters.

In 2011, Laura graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Psychology and a Criminal Justice minor. While attending Villanova University, Laura volunteered to tutor inmates at S.C.I. Graterford. Additionally, she interned at George W. Hill Correctional Facility, where many of her current clients are housed, as a case manager. Both of these experiences allowed Laura to familiarize herself with the criminal justice system early on.

In 2015, Laura graduated from Widener University School of Law located in Wilmington, Delaware. While attending law school, Laura completed an externship as a judicial clerk with the Honorable James F. Nilon, Jr., at the Delaware County Courthouse. She also served as a legal intern in the criminal division of the United States Attorney's Office located in Philadelphia. Finally, Laura served as a certified legal intern with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office. Through each of these experiences, Laura obtained a thorough understanding of criminal law and is now able to thoroughly explain the criminal process to her clients in a way that is easy for them to understand.

After passing the bar exam in 2015, Laura became an associate with the Delaware County law firm Raffaele Puppio and remained with that firm for over six years. Her practice at Raffaele Puppio concentrated on criminal defense, personal injury, and workers' compensation matters. In fact, Laura successfully argued before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in a workers' compensation matter. During her six years with Raffaele Puppio, Laura passionately advocated on behalf of her many clients to ensure she was always getting the most favorable result possible for her client.

Laura has been an active member of the Delaware County Bar Association since 2015.
