Lawrence "Larry" Gonzalez II was born and raised in Florida and received his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Florida. After graduation, he attended the University of Florida's Levin College of Law, where he graduated in the top of his class.
Mr. Gonzalez is an equity partner in the firm. He founded the Premises Liability Department for the firm's Central Florida offices, and then led Florida's Fire Litigation Practice, which specializes in wrongful death cases caused by fire. Now, Mr. Gonzalez specializes in representing individuals and families in the Firm's most significant matters involving wrongful death and catastrophic personal injuries. A large portion of his practice is devoted to litigating crashes involving interstate/intrastate trucking companies.
Mr. Gonzalez has represented professional athletes from the NBA and PGA Tour, and has given lectures on personal injury law to hundreds of attorneys across the country. He has also been featured on numerous national and local media outlets, and can be frequently seen on the Firm's television commercials.
Since joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Gonzalez has effectively and successfully represented individuals and families throughout the country, where he has achieved substantial verdicts and settlements for multi-millions of dollars. While some cases may be settled without the need for trial, he firmly believes in aggressively representing his clients and will pursue litigation whenever it is necessary. To date, he has litigated hundreds of cases against the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world. His primary goal is to make sure his clients receive the personal attention and justice they deserve.
