Lawrence M. Kahn was born August 9, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey. He lived there for twenty years before moving to the Great Northwest to live, to work and to finish his undergraduate work which he had begun at Rutgers University.
After completing his undergraduate degree, he attended law school and established a successful trial practice in the Los Angeles area for almost 15 years. In 1999, Mr. Kahn and his wife moved their family to the Seattle area to be closer to family and to once again enjoy the Great Northwest lifestyle.
Mr. Kahn established his Bellevue practice in 1999 while still commuting to Los Angeles, thereby keeping his commitments to his former clients. In 2003, he was recruited and accepted the position of Managing Director for a National Law Firm representing financial institutions. After a year of managing attorneys in literally every state and Puerto Rico, he decided to get back to his roots and to his passion-the courtroom.
To date, Attorney Kahn's clients have prevailed in every jury trial, including several significant multi-million dollar verdicts and numerous significant defense verdicts. He has also successfully handled scores of Arbitrations, Mediations and Settlements. In 1997, he was a featured attorney in "Verdicts and Settlements" for his $2.3 Million Dollar verdict in D.J. Chan's Investment Co. v. Robert and Elaine Chan, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC016734.
Attorney Kahn is licensed to practice law before all the state and federal courts in Washington State and in California. He received his law degree from Southwestern University and his undergraduate degree from the University Of Oregon School Of Journalism.
