Lee Carter is an associate at Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP engaged in all facets of civil litigation. Mr. Carter is admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and has been admitted pro hac vice in federal district courts and state courts throughout the country.
Prior to joining Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP Mr. Carter practiced in Atlanta, Georgia with King & Spalding LLP where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation, including professional liability litigation, consumer class actions, and contract disputes in the financial services, real estate, construction, and defense industries.
Mr. Carter graduated, magna cum laude, with honors from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science in 2005. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa while finishing his undergraduate degrees from the University. Mr. Carter received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. While at the University’s School of Law, Mr. Carter served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
