Leslie grew up in a Union household - her mother worked for the Teamsters' Security Fund when she was 17 years old. When Leslie graduated from law school she was hired by Teamsters Union Local 856 to: negotiate Union contracts for thousands of public and private sector employees to improve their wages, benefits and working conditions; pursue and resolved grievances; arbitrate; organized new members; and implement political action campaigns. She enjoyed her time at the Teamsters Union and still represents Union Members in her private practice.
