Lindsay E. Reeves practices primarily in the areas general litigation, including successions and trust litigation, commercial litigation, and state tax litigation. She has experience in oil and gas, banking, construction, and environmental law, as well as other commercial disputes. She represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Louisiana and in multi-district litigation.
Lindsay is a graduate of Tulane University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate and a certificate in Environmental Law in 2009. While at Tulane, Lindsay actively participated in Tulane’s moot court program as a competitor, coach, and competition director. Lindsay also served on the executive board of the Tulane Environmental Law Society and practiced in the Environmental Law Clinic. Lindsay completed Tulane’s maritime law program in Rhodes, Greece.
Prior to attending Tulane, Lindsay graduatedsumma cum laudefrom Florida State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Classical Civilizations. At Florida State, Lindsay studied classical history, Italian history, and political science. She was a member of the Honors Program, the Eta Sigma Phi Latin Honor Society, the Dean’s List, and the President’s List.
Lindsay has served on the board of the New Orleans Association for Women Attorneys for the last five years, and she is a past president of that organization. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as American Bar Association Sections on Litigation and Energy and the Environment. Lindsay is also a member of Global Green, Defenders of Wildlife, and volunteers for the Audubon Nature Institute. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys traveling with her husband, James.
